Illini Football Spring Game Set For April 24

The University of Illinois football team will conclude its spring football season with the annual Orange and Blue Spring Game presented by The News-Gazette, WDWS and WHMS on Sat., April 24 at 1 p.m. at Memorial Stadium. The football scrimmage is also part of the Illini Spring Sports Festival, which features men's tennis, soccer and the World's Largest Softball Tailgate. All admission to the weekends' events and parking are free.
The 2010 Orange and Blue Spring Football Game will also have concessions specials, including $1 drinks, as well as inflatable games in the South End Zone for the kids. Pregame tailgating will take place near Eichelberger Field in conjunction with the annual World's Largest Softball Tailgate, which will take place after the spring game conclusion.
