Illini in Houston - Day 4 Photos | Illini Bowl Central

HOUSTON - Tuesday was another big day in Houston for the Illini as they prepare for the 2010 Texas Bowl on Wednesday night. Usually the day before a game is pretty low-key, but today was full of events. The day started with the Texas Bowl Luncheon at the Westin Galleria and was followed by a press conference featuring Illini coach Ron Zook, Baylor coach Art Briles and selected Illinois and Baylor players.

Following the luncheon and press conference, the team then went to the Houston Texan's practice facility for a walkthrough before going accross the street to walk around on the Reliant Stadium field for the first time. After the walkthrough, several Illini players and coaches visited the DePelchin Children's Center to sign autographs snd interact with the kids. The Illini wrapped-up the day with dinner at their hotel before resting up for tomorrow's game.
