Big Ten Championship Results Through Three Rounds

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Freshman Nora Lucas (233) fired a four-over 76 during the third round of the Big Ten Championship and is tied for sixth heading into the final round. The Glenview, Ill., native paced the Illini, which turned in a round of 325 on Saturday at the par-72 6,333-yard Kampen Course.
Lucas began the day in a tie for 11th and moved up five spots with her second consecutive 76 of the tournament. Her best finish of the season came at the Indiana Invitational where she tied for 35th.
Michigan's Ashley Bauer and Indiana's Anita Gahir are deadlocked with Lucas at 17-over par, while Purdue's Maude-Aimee LeBlanc (220) leads the individual field and teammate Maria Hernandez (222) by two strokes at four-over par.
Freshman Hailey Koschmann (242) tallied a third round 85 and is tied for 24th, while freshman Samantha Sloan turned in an 82 on Saturday and is tied for 32nd. Senior Nancy Featherstone (253) shot an 83 which placed her in a tie for 52nd. Sophomore Raquel Hopton (259) is tied for 61st after a round of 84, and freshman Katelin Dilger (264) is in 66th after a round of 85.
No. 11 Purdue (909) increased its lead to 36 strokes over second-place No. 17 Michigan State (945) and the 11-team field. No. 24 Ohio State (949), Michigan (950) and Northwestern (953) round out the top five and are only separated by four strokes. Illinois (972) currently sits in 10th place through 54 holes.
