Oxford, Ohio - The Fighting Illini remained in third place at the conclusion of the second day of the Miami Invitational with 740.5 points. Miami moved into first place with 1346.5 points, while Florida Golf Coast got bumped to second with 771 points.

"We were a little up and down overall today," head coach Sue Novitsky said. "It was a long day with multiple girls participating in multiple swims. Today was a great test of their strength and hopefully we can come back strong tomorrow."
