Lady Northern Results Through 36 Holes
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Illinois (638) turned in rounds of 323 and 315 on Saturday and is tied for 12th place with Minnesota (638) through 36 holes of the Lady Northern. No. 22 Purdue (593) leads the 14-team field by nine strokes followed by No. 23 Notre Dame (602) and No. 20 Michigan State (604) in second and third place, respectively.
Freshman Samantha Sloan (159) tallied rounds of 81 and 78 at the par-72 6,297-yard Kampen Course and is tied for 47th. Three Illini are tied for 50th with 36-hole totals of 160. Freshmen Hailey Koschmann (160) and Nora Lucas (160) each notched rounds of 81 and 79, respectively, while sophomore Raquel Hopton (160) carded back-to-back 80s. Senior Nancy Featherstone (164) is tied for 64th after rounds of 85 and 79. Freshman Katelin Dilger (177) shot rounds of 90 and 87 and is in 81st place.
Purdue's Junthima Gulyanamitta (143) leads all individuals at 1-under.
