The Illini finished just as strongly as they started capping off the session with a fourth place finish in the 400 free relay (Farrell, Poetz, Brunka and Viney) in season best time of 3:27.86.
"Right now we are a little up and down because the team is trying to rest up for the Big Ten Championships in two weeks, plus this is our third straight week on the road. Altogether, we did pull some good swims together setting a number of season best times," commented head coach Sue Novitsky.
Next up, the Illini prepare for the Big Ten Championships in Columbus, Ohio starting February 15th-18th.
