The University of Illinois athletic ticket office is now accepting season ticket orders for the 2002 football season. Ron Turner's squad will look to defend their Big Ten title when they play host to Big Ten foes Michigan, Ohio State, Purdue and Indiana at Memorial Stadium in 2002. Also on next fall's schedule are non-conference opponents Arkansas State and San Jose State.
Fans can order football season tickets by calling 217-333-3470 or toll free 1-866-ILLINI1 or by picking up a ticket order form at the Illini Ticket Office in the Assembly Hall North Box Office. Current Illinois football season ticket holders can expect to receive their renewal form by mail in mid-February.
Season tickets prices are $167 for general public and $137 for Illinois faculty/staff and include admission to not only the 2002 home schedule, but the 2003 Orange and Blue Spring Game.
The Illini are fresh off another record-breaking season as they won their first Big Ten Conference Championship since 1989 with the highest scoring offense in school history. The 2002 team will feature seven returning starters on each side of the ball.
