• Finished in eighth place at the Big Ten Championships in the 400 m with a 55.46. Her qualifying time of 54.58 is good for ninth in school history.

High School

• Ranked among the best in the Volunteer state in three sprint events in 2016 
• Holds Houston High School records in both the 200m (24.43) and 400m (55.27)
• In the 200m, Phillips ranked third in the state during the indoor season, and then placed second at the TSSAA State Track & Field Championships
• In the 400m, Phillips won the state title with a time of 55.27. Phillips also timed 55.89 indoors, ranking second in the state of Tennessee
• Was a 2016 Tennessee State Championships medalist in the 4x100m, 4x200m, and 4x400m relays

• Credits her her coaches Scott Hamlet and Hrukit Maat for guiding her and influncing her track career
• Was a member of the National Honors Art Society in high school and is majoring in graphic art and design
• Aspires to be a graphic designer for books, magazines and the like.
