Outdoor

  • All-American (Hammer Throw)
  • NCAA Championships qualifier (Hammer Throw)
  • Became the first Illinois woman to become an All-American in the hammer throw at the NCAA Outdoor Championships with her eighth-place finish, 67.73m (222-2)
  • Threw a Big Ten and school record hammer throw at the Gary Wieneke Memorial, 70.21m (230-4)

Daughter of Gareth and Keely Simpson... Chose Illinios because it is "a highly academic school and provides me the best options to excel in my future professional career in business management. I also chose illinois for the amazing opportunity to work with Coach JC Lambert and the rest of this amazing track team"... Inspired by her parents who have supported her through everything.
