• Became the first Illinois woman to become an All-American in the hammer throw at the NCAA Outdoor Championships with her eighth-place finish, 67.73m (222-2)
• Threw a Big Ten and school record hammer throw at the Gary Wieneke Memorial, 70.21m (230-4)
• Placed fifth in the hammer throw at the NCAA West Preliminaries to qualify to the NCAA Outdoor Championships, 66.14m (217-0)
• Placed third in the hammer throw at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships, 66.18m (217-1)

At Memphis 2018-23

• Earned second in the weight throw at the 2023 American Indoor Track and Field Championships 21.06m (69-1) 
• Threw a personal-best 68.13m (223-6) in her win at Memphis Tiger Invitational
• Placed fifth at the Commonwealth Games in 2022
• American Conference Academic Honors and Deans List every year

Daughter of Gareth and Keely Simpson... Chose Illinios because it is "a highly academic school and provides me the best options to excel in my future professional career in business management. I also chose illinois for the amazing opportunity to work with Coach JC Lambert and the rest of this amazing track team"... Inspired by her parents who have supported her through everything.
