Senior - 2023-24

• Sidelined for a majority of the dual season due to injury
• Once healthy again, rejoined forces with Megan Heuser to earn an ITA doubles ranking as high as No. 73 as the duo finished with a 6-8 record when teaming up

• Finished 12-9 overall in doubles play including a 6-3 record in duals, and 2-1 mark in Big Ten matches
• Appeared in all three doubles slots, posting a 2-3 record at No. 1, 3-0 reading at No. 2, and 1-0 mark at No. 3

Junior - 2022-23

• Spring Academic All-Big Ten
• Big Ten All-Conference Team
• NCAA Doubles All-American with Megan Heuser after earning Elite Eight berth
• Finished with a 26-6 record working with Heuser on the doubles court
• Duong and Heuser became second-ever Illini doubles team to earn All-American status
• Reached as high as No. 7 in the ITA doubles rankings with Heuser, the best-ever ranking by an Illini doubles tandem and would finish at No. 17 in the rankings
• Went 12-12 overall in singles play including a 6-9 record in dual action all at No. 1
• Faced five nationally ranked opponents on the singles court
• Went 27-7 overall in doubles play on the season including a 16-3 dual record all at No. 1
• Tallied a 6-2 record in Big Ten doubles
• Went 6-3 vs. nationally ranked opponents on the doubles court
• Teamed up with Heuser to take down the No. 1 ranked doubles tandem at the ITA National Fall Championships (Carol Lee/Kate Sharabura, Georgia Tech) and would reach the Round of 16
• Won the ITA Midwest Regional doubles championship with Heuser – the third-ever Illini duo to win a regional championship
• Won the Fighting Illini Women’s Open USTA/ITF 15K Doubles championship with Heuser in the fall

Sophomore - 2021-22

• Big Ten Conference Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week (4/19/22)
• Illinois Women’s Tennis MVP
• Posted a 12-9 record at No. 1 singles and went 13-8 with partner Megan Heuser at Nol. 1 doubles
• Put together a 6-4 mark in singles and a 6-3 record in doubles in Big Ten action
• Named Big Ten Conference Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week after helping lead the Illini to a 4-3 win over Northwestern on April 17 with her 6-2, 7-5 straight-sets win over No. 110 Clarissa Hand at No. 1 singles, her first victory over a ranked opponent on the season.

Freshman - 2020-21

• Won her singles match on court three (6-1, 4-6, 6-4) in a 4-3 win over Minnesota
• Started the Big Ten season with a 2-0 record in both singles and doubles, securing wins against Iowa and Nebraska in the first weekend of action 
• Won her doubles matchup with Ashley Yeah 6-3 at the #3 spot against No. 7 ranked Northwestern
• Added two singles wins the weekend of 4/11 to lead the squad
• Won her singles match on court two to clinch a Senior Day win over #7 Northwestern

HIGH SCHOOL | JUNIOR TENNIS 

• Was a two-time CCS Singles Finalist in 2018 and 2019
• A 2019 CCS Team Finalist
• Captain of her team in 2020

PERSONAL 

• Daughter of Son Duong and Fatemeh Birhani
• Has one brother, Alexander
• Chose Illinois because of the incredible sports environment and the amazing accounting program
• Graduated with her bachelor's degree in accountancy
