Nation graduated with her Bachelor of Science in athletic training from Eastern Illinois University and obtained her Master of Science in sports management from Jacksonville State University.

Job Responsibilities:
She currently serves as the athletic trainer for women’s gymnastics.

Past Experience:
Prior to Illinois, Nation spent three years at LSU, one year as an intern working with swimming & diving and two years as an assistant athletic trainer with track and field. She also served as a graduate assistant with at Jacksonville State and worked closely with the beach volleyball, football, and women's basketball teams.

Certifications:

Rebecca is a BOC certified athletic trainer and is licensed in the state of Illinois. She is SASTSM and IAR - Sports Manual Therapy certified.

Personal:

The Highland, Illinois native, currently resides in Champaign, Illinois.
