Seventeen Illini Secure 2025-26 WCGA Scholastic All-America Honors

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Fighting Illini women's gymnastics team saw 17 student-athletes secure Scholastic All-America honors from the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association, the organization announced on Wednesday. Illinois' 17 honorees tied for the most in the Big Ten, with student-athletes needing at least a 3.5 GPA to be eligible for the academic accolade.

Overall, 1,195 women's gymnasts from collegiate programs across the country received the honor. This year, Illinois ranked 30th in the nation for team GPA (3.7146), with 80.95% of the Illini's 2025-26 roster collecting the national academic recognition.

Chloe Cho and Tali Joelson both posted a perfect 4.0 GPA during the 2025-2026 academic year.
