CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Fighting Illini women's gymnastics program announced its 2027 schedule on Wednesday.
The Illini are set to host four meets during the 2027 season, along with two annual preseason intrasquad competitions this fall.
Preseason contests include the squad's annual Halloween Intrasquad on Oct. 30 at Kenney Gym and the Orange and Blue intrasquad – which will feature student-athletes from both the men's and women's gymnastics teams – on Dec. 6 at Huff Hall.
The Illini will open the regular season on Jan. 8 at the Zou to the Lou quad meet in St. Charles, Mo. Illinois will compete alongside Missouri, Iowa, and Nebraska at the four-team event.
The Orange and Blue will then begin Big Ten play on the West Coast, taking on reigning conference champion UCLA on Jan. 17. The Illini will make their home debut on Jan. 23 with a meet against Iowa, with the contest set to air nationally on Big Ten Network at 5 p.m. CT.
Illinois will then close the month of January with a home dual against Washington on Jan. 30 at 3 p.m. CT.
Illinois will start February away from home with a road dual at Penn State on Feb. 6 before returning home to take on Rutgers on Feb. 12 at 6 p.m. CT.
The Illini head to Birmingham, Ala., on Feb. 14 for the prestigious Elevate the Stage meet and will compete against Alabama, Auburn, and North Carolina.
On Feb. 19, the Orange and Blue resume conference competition with a dual meet at Michigan. The team will return to the state of Michigan the following week for their Big 4 meet at Michigan State, with the Illini set to take on the host Spartans, Maryland, and Minnesota on Feb. 28 on Big Ten Network.
Illinois' final meet of the regular season is slated for March 13 against Denver at Huff Hall, with the Illini facing the Pioneers at Huff Hall at 3 p.m. CT.
The Big Ten Championships are scheduled for March 19-21 at Ohio State, while NCAA Regionals are on deck from March 31-April 4. The NCAA Championships are set for April 15 and 17 in Fort Worth, Texas.
