Jada Glenn

Jada Glenn enters her first season as volunteer assistant coach for the 2022-23 season. Illinois women's gymnastics head coach Nadalie Walsh announced her hire on Sept. 5, 2022.

"Jada made a great impression from the first time I spoke to her," Walsh said. "She has great energy and a positive team-first mentality. I believe the student-athletes will value her personality as well as her coaching experience. Jada also has a great eye for videography, which really sets her apart. I am looking forward to her arrival to Champaign and for her to be joining the Illini family!"

Glenn comes to Illinois following a stellar collegiate career in which she competed for five seasons at Auburn University from 2018-22.

"I am excited to join the Illini Nation as a volunteer assistant coach," Glenn said. "As a former student-athlete, I am grateful to the coaching staff for trusting in me to work alongside them to help build the program and reach new heights."

During her time at Auburn, Glenn focused primarily on vault and floor, posting career-high totals of 9.925 and 9.8, respectively, in the two events.

In addition to her success in competition, Glenn, was a standout academic performer who was named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll in both 2021 and 2022.

A native of Aurora, Colo., Glenn graduated from Auburn in May 2022 with a bachelor's degree media studies and a minor in sports coaching.
