Prep Highlights: Carondelet ranked fifth in the state, won the BVAL North Coast Section title and placed second in the BVAL ? Named First Team All-BVAL, Contra Costa Times Pitcher of the Year and First Team All-State ? Sports Focus listed Tanner as the Great All-America athlete and the NCS Softball Player of the Year ? Coached by Del Himango and Steve Driscoll ? Four-time all-city selection and three time all-city player of the year ? Played for R+R Gold (coached by Bob Regpalula, Bill Brock and Manual Luna) and Shockers Club (coached by Tom Garvin and Mike Martinez) Teams ? R + R Gold qualified for regionals in 2000. ?
