• Mother, Kelly McClure, played volleyball at Illinois, totaled 756 kills, 803 digs, 257 blocks and 70 service aces in 119 career matches as an outside hitter-turned-middle blocker, and was an  All-Big Ten first-team selection in 1996
• Sister, Anna McClure, plays volleyball at Ohio State
• Uncle, Todd McClure, played baseball at Illinois
