Education:
Record earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Illinois in 1994, her master’s in social work at Illinois in 2001, and her master’s in educational administration in 2007.

Past Experience:
She cheered for the Illini from 1990-1993 and competed on the 7th ranked national team in 1993. Record is safety certified by the American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Advisors. While at Illinois, Record has led the team to six national rankings: 18th in 2006; 14th in 2003; 18th in in 2002; 19th in 2000; 13th in 1998; and 15th in 1996.

Personal:
A native of Mattoon, Ill., She is a licensed clinical social worker, has her school administrative certification and is a certified school social worker. She and her husband, Rush, have two children (Kennedy and Delaney) and reside in Champaign.
