Carson Boyd to Throw First Pitch at Illini Night in St. Louis on Friday

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Illinois quarterback and St. Louis native Carson Boyd will throw out the first pitch at the St. Louis Cardinals' Illini Night presented by Busey Bank on Friday. Ticket packages are available for the 7:15 p.m. CT game against the Atlanta Braves. Click here to purchase tickets.
The special Illini Night tickets include a Cardinals/Illini baseball hat. Upgrading your experience to a VIP ticket will give you access to a pregame event with Illinois Athletics Hall of Famer Scott Speizio and a Cardinals broadcaster. VIP ticket also includes a Spiezio pre-signed item and photo opportunity.
Prior to first pitch, Boyd, OL Brandon Henderson, DB Nick Hankins Jr., and DB Jacob Eberhart will be signing autographs at the Ford Plaza in centerfield (next to the hat redemption stand) beginning at approximately 5:30 p.m. CT. All four current Illini football student-athletes signing autographs are natives of the St. Louis area.
Illinois will also host a free pregame party at Paddy O's (618 7th St., St. Louis) in partnership with the Metro St. Louis Illini Club. All Illini fans are welcome to the event starting at 4:30 p.m. CT. Illini football student-athletes and soccer student-athlete Lauren Seppi, a St. Louis native, are scheduled to be in attendance.
