
Four Illini Set Top-10 Program Marks on Final Day of Razorback Invitational

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The No. 1 women's and No. 9 men's track and field teams completed the Razorback Invitational on Saturday (Jan. 31) from the Randal Tyson Track Center. Zavien Wolfe, Katharina Graman, Jackson Gilbert and Grace Kombetto all recorded new top-10 marks in program history.
Wolfe won the triple jump today with the program's second-best mark of 16.39m (53-9 1/4) which is also the No. 6 mark in the NCAA so far this season. On the women's side, Graman improved her personal best triple jump up to 13.40m (43-11 3/4) which is now fourth best in school history and the current No. 8 mark in the NCAA.
Both Gilbert and Kombetto set new top-10 program marks in the 400m this afternoon. Gilbert's time of 46.31 is the fifth-fastest in school history while Kombetto's 54.24 is the ninth fastest.
UP NEXT
The Orange and Blue track and field crews are off next week before they return to action on Feb. 13-14 for two meets. The distance crew will head to Boston for the David Hemery Valentine Invitational, while the rest of the squad goes back to Fayetteville, Ark. for the Tyson Invitational.
