TAMPA, Fla. – The Illinois men's and women's track and field teams completed the first day of their outdoor season at the USF Alumni Invitational on Friday (March 21). Jordan Koskondy took the gold medal in the hammer throw today with the program's second-best throw, 62.82m (206-1).
Mia Morello took silver in the women's pole vault, 4.20m (13-9 1/4). Will Rezny started off his year with a bronze medal in the shot put, 17.85m (58-6 3/4). Faith Deering took fifth in the hammer throw with the school's sixth-best throw, 57.48m (188-7).
