Illini Night Cubs Tickets - July 2
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Illinois head football coach Bret Bielema will be the Chicago Cubs' guest conductor for the famous seventh-inning stretch at Wrigley Field for a fourth consecutive year. Bielema will take the mic at Wrigley on Tuesday, July 2 when the Cubs host the Philadelphia Phillies at 7:05 p.m. CT for Illini Night.
Illinois all-time great running back Howard Griffith, who set an NCAA record with eight rushing touchdowns in a game in 1990, is set to throw out the ceremonial first pitch on Illini Night. Griffith went on to an eight-year NFL career, including winning two super bowls with the Denver Broncos, before becoming a football analyst on Big Ten Network.
Bielema and other Illini special guests will attend the Illini's Pregame Party at Budweiser Brickhouse Tavern at 4 p.m. CT. Admission is free for the pregame event and no game ticket is necessary.

A portion of the proceeds from each ticket offer purchased will be donated to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign's Robert Archibald Student-Athlete Health and Wellness Fund.
