ILLINI AT BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Illini captured their first-ever Big Ten title last season at Fox Chapel Golf Club in Pittsburgh. Under head coach Renee Slone, Illinois has also finished tied for second twice in 2018 and 2019.

Illinois has five individual Big Ten medalists, Becky Beach in 1976, Slone (formerly Heiken) in 1991 and 1993, Becky Biehl in 1992 and Crystal Wang in 2023.

In last year's tournament, Wang closed out the championships with a 9-under (62), matching the program record for lowest single-round score. It is also the lowest round ever at a conference championship tournament in NCAA Division I women's golf history. Isabel Sy earned Big Ten All-Championship Team honors after placing fourth at 1-over.
