CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – No. 11 Fighting Illini men's tennis is set to host No. 1 Ohio State on Wednesday at 6 p.m. CT at Atkins Tennis Center for the two teams' traditional non-conference matchup.
History
Illinois holds a 61-56-1 record over Ohio State, with the first match coming over 100 years ago on May 17, 1920, when the two teams tied, 3-3.
The Illini have faced the Buckeyes 11 times in the past five seasons with a record of 1-10, with the win coming on the 4-3 clinch of the 2021 Big Ten Tournamen championship.
