History
Competing against each other since 2015, the Illini have yet to lose to the Scarlet Knights in the regular season, holding a 9-0 record.
Scouting Report
The Scarlet Knights are on a two-meet losing streak, most previously losing to Penn State, 196.075-195.850, then to No. 25 Maryland, 196.450-195.550.
In the Penn State loss, senior Emily Leese won the vault outright with her first 9.9 of the season on the apparatus. Leese and fellow senior Emily Wood tied for first on floor with a pair of 9.875s.
Senior Avery Balser earned third place on bars with a 9.850, while sophomore Rachael Riley recorded her first top-three finish with a third-place and career-high 9.850 on beam.
Ranked Illini
After scoring a 196.175 in a loss to No. 12 Ohio State, Illinois is now ranked No. 24 in the country.
Mia Takekawa also earned a ranking of No. 7 after scoring her third 9.900 on beam in Columbus. Abby Mueller is also on floor, landing in the No. 18 spot after scoring a 9.825 against the Buckeyes.
