LEXINGTON, Ky. – Illinois' four individual NCAA Regionals qualifiers competed in the Lexington, Ky., Regional on Friday night.
Chloe Cho, Summer Clancy, Eden King, and Lyden Saltness all proudly represented the Orange and Blue on the national stage.
"I am very proud of these ladies. They supported each other through the whole meet and represented the Block I with class and grace," said head coach Josh Nilson. "They have led the team by example every step of the way and are very hungry to continue leading next season. Thank you Illini fans! The future is very bright."
The first rotation of the night saw Cho and King compete on bars and floor, respectively. Cho posted a 9.900 in her first event, marking her ninth score of at least 9.9 on the apparatus this season. Meanwhile, King tallied a 9.050 on floor.
On beam, Cho continued her strong night with a 9.850 before following it up with a 9.875 on floor. Competing as an individual on bars, Saltness secured a 9.800.
In the final rotation, Cho closed out her night with a 9.750 on vault, while Clancy marked her regionals debut with a 9.800 on beam.
Cho ultimately finished with an all-around score of 39.375.
