Illinois is set to begin spring practices on Tuesday, March 19 in preparation for its Memorial Stadium 100th Anniversary season. Season tickets are on sale now with pricing starting at just $100 to provide an affordable entry point for all fans.

Illinois announced in January that it will host a year-long celebration of the 100th anniversary of Memorial Stadium's dedication. Memorial Stadium's Dedication Game famously occurred against Michigan on Oct. 18, 1924, when Illini legend Red Grange gained national headlines. Grange scored four touchdowns in the first 12 minutes of the Dedication Game, then ran for a fifth touchdown and threw for a sixth to take down the previously undefeated Wolverines.

The Fighting Illini are set to host Michigan on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024, 100 years and one day from Grange's historic performance. The game will be marked as Memorial Stadium's "Rededication Game" with the 100th anniversary celebration lasting throughout the 2024 season, including during Big Ten home games against Purdue, Minnesota, and Michigan State.
