The Outland Trophy named Illinois offensive lineman Isaiah Adams and defensive lineman Keith Randolph Jr. to its watch list, the Football Writers Association of America announced on Tuesday.
The Outland Trophy
The Outland Trophy is awarded annually to the best interior lineman, either on offense or defense, in college football. The trophy is the third-oldest award in college football, and it is named in honor of Dr. John Outland, who was an All-American at Penn in the late 1890s. It is voted on by FWAA members before finalists are selected by the FWAA All-America Committee.
