CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – University of Illinois track star Olivia Howell was named as the United States Track, Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Women's Track Athlete of the year. This honor comes a day removed from her winning the Big Ten's Track Athlete of the Year honor.

Howell went undefeated in mile races this season. She won her first National Title in the Mile with a facility record 4:34.00. Read more about Howell's accolades and season review in yesterday's release here.
