Schedule
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Illinois women's gymnastics team and its coaching staff will be dedicating its entire 2023 season to mental wellness.
"It makes me extremely proud of my team for making the decision to dedicate our 2023 season to promoting mental wellness at each of our home competitions," head coach Nadalie Walsh said. "This topic is critical to raise awareness for since so many people are impacted either personally or have a loved one who has been impacted with mental health. Our team culture supports total wellness at all times and it is my hope that throughout the season, each of our meets highlight different mental health concerns. We hope to educate the fans, the campus, community, and gymnastics world and hope they will feel the compassion, support and devotion from the Fighting Illini women's gymnastics team to help make a difference in peoples lives."
Each of the team's five home meets throughout the season will have a different message that coincides with promoting mental health.
