Tommy DeVito | Sr., Football | Major: MS: Strategic Brand Communication

Senior quarterback Tommy DeVito made his Illini debut vs. Wyoming on Aug. 27, helping the Orange and Blue to a 38-6 win to open the year with a Week 0 victory for the second consecutive season.

DeVito completed 27 of 37 passes for 192 yards and 2 touchdowns. His first pass in an Illinois uniform was a touchdown connection to running back Chase Brown just 41 seconds into the contest. Devito's second touchdown pass came late in the third quarter with an 8-yard completion to Pat Bryant to push the Illinois lead to 24-6.

DeVito also surpassed 4,000 career yards with his performance (including 3,866 yards at Syracuse).

A native of Cedar Grove, N.J., DeVito is a masters student studying strategic brand communication..
