CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Illinois men's tennis will head back to Tennessee to compete in the Commodore Invite, spanning from Sept. 23-25, hosted by Vanderbilt.
Who's Competing
Graduate student Nic Meister, sophomore transfer Mathis Debru and freshman Kenta Miyoshi will all be headed back to the Volunteer state after having a combined 10 wins last week in the Knoxville Showdown.
Meister tallied three of the wins in singles play, while he and partner Miyoshi gathered one win in Knoxville.

Debru earned three singles wins in his Illini debut and two wins with doubles partner Oliver Okonkwo.
History
This is Illinois' first time in the Commodore Invite. Other teams involved include Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas and the host school Vanderbilt.
The schedule for which schools are competing against each other will be announced at a later date.
