CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- Fighting Illini Athletics has announced the promotional schedule for the 2022 Fighting Illini Football season. Illinois kicks off the 2022 football season at home Saturday, Aug. 27 against Wyoming Cowboys at 3 p.m. CT.

Wyoming FamILLy 4 Pack – Aug. 27 home opener vs. Wyoming (3 p.m. CT kickoff) is one of the first games of the college football calendar, it will also be the first time that the Illini defend their new turf in front of the Orange and Blue faithful at Memorial Stadium.
While single-game tickets for non-conference home matchups start at just $25, the "4 Pack" offers four tickets at a discounted cost of $59, with the ability to add additional tickets for just $14.75 per ticket.
Great seating options are available with the FamILLy 4 Pack, including the Orange Zone and Horseshoe.
Extra Yard for Teachers – As part of the College Football Playoff Foundation's national platform to promote and reward educators, Illinois football will pay tribute to their favorite and most impactful teachers and local and regional educators will be honored during in-game activities. Elementary school administrators wanting to request tickets for their staff/teachers can contact wlyz@illinois.edu or call (217) 333-1397 to learn more. The deadline to request tickets is Tuesday, August 23rd.

Varsity I Weekend – Former student-athlete letterwinners of all sports are invited back to campus to take part in a large reunion.
Title IX 50th Anniversary – To commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the landmark Title IX legislation that provided equal opportunities to women in athletics, the University of Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics honor former female letterwinners who have helped shape women's athletics at Illinois. Band Day – High School bands from across the state will come to perform with the Marching Illini.
Celebrate Food and Ag – In partnership with the College of ACES, the game will celebrate the many partnerships and contributions the agriculture industry has given to the University and the Central Illinois community.

Illinois Athletics Hall of Fame Weekend – The 2022 class of the Illinois Athletics Hall of Fame will be honored this weekend with on-field recognition during the game, and induction into the Hall on Friday, Sep. 23 at 6PM inside the State Farm Center. Admission is free and open to all fans.
Light Show Pregame & Third Quarter Break – Download the Fighting Illini app to participate with your phone in the pregame light show before kickoff! Homecoming / With Illinois Celebration – The Illini football game is final activity in a week-long celebration of Illinois alumni returning to campus. Homecoming week at Illinois celebrates the 111th year of Illinois traditions. Themed "We are FamILLy" the week includes events to celebrate current students, community members and the more than 400,000 living UIUC alumni.

Then at 8:00 pm, enjoy an exclamation point on the evening – and the campaign – with a sky show and a performance by the Marching Illini. Includes FREE food trucks and fan activities. Senior Day – Come out and honor the Fighting Illini seniors and their families playing their last game at Memorial Stadium.
Military Appreciation Day – This game will honor and recognize those brave servicemen and women who protect our freedom, while also paying tribute to the strong connection and history between the University and the military community. Be in your seats early for a special military flyover.
