CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Illinois catcher Jacob Campbell was named to the Collegiate Baseball National Player of the Week list on Monday. Campbell had an outstanding week at the plate, going 8-for-19 (.421) with four home runs, 12 RBIs, and seven runs scored in four games.

Campbell has now homered in five straight games dating back to last Sunday against Maryland. This past weekend at Indiana, Campbell hit .429 with three homers and nine RBIs. He leads the Fighting Illini with eight home runs this season.
