Illini Night Cubs Tickets - May 19 | Fighting Illini Tailgate Tour

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Illinois head football coach Bret Bielema will be the Chicago Cubs' guest conductor for the famous seventh-inning stretch for a second consecutive year. Bielema will take the mic at Wrigley Field on Thursday, May 19 when the Cubs host the Arizona Diamondbacks at 6:40 p.m. CT.

Bielema and women's basketball head coach Shauna Green will attend the Illini's Pregame Party at Budweiser Brickhouse Tavern at 4 p.m. CT. Admission is free for the pregame event and no game ticket is necessary.

A special ticket offer for the game includes a co-branded Illini/Cubs hat. Tickets are available in a variety of locations and prices. A portion of the proceeds from each ticket offer purchase will be donated to the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign's Robert Archibald Student-Athlete Health and Wellness Fund. 

The Cubs game and pregame party are part of a number of public appearances Bielema will make in May. He is also scheduled to appear at the Fighting Illini Tailgate Tour stops in Aurora (May 18), Springfield (May 24), and the Quad Cities (May 25).
