CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Following last week's events surrounding the Masters, which included top-rated University of Illinois alumnus Thomas Pieters - the No. 35 ranked player in the most recent Official World Golf Rankings - two of the Orange and Blue's newest professionals tee off this week when Nick Hardy and Michael Feagles compete on the Korn Ferry Tour. 

KORN FERRY TOUR
The Veritex Bank Championship, held at the Texas Rangers Golf Club in Arlington, Texas, opens Wednesday, April 13 with a pair of Illini alums in the field.

Hardy, who turned pro in 2018, secured his PGA Tour card in August as a top-25 finisher on last year's Korn Ferry Tour points list. He opens the event Wednesday in the second grouping slated to tee off. Hardy enters the week with 19-career top-25s and 10 top-10 finishes on the Korn Ferry Tour.   

Feagles in his rookie season on the Korn Ferry Tour, is set to tee off in the afternoon in Rounds 1 and 2. Feagles posted his first-career top-25 finish on the Korn Ferry Tour in March, tying for 21st with a 9-under 275 at the Chitimacha Louisiana Open presented by MISTRAS.
