USTFCCCA Release
NEW ORLEANS, La.- The University of Illinois women's and men's cross country teams were awarded USTFCCCA All-Academic honors for the 2020 season. In addition, six of the women earned individual All-Academic honors for the year, including Ayah Aldadah, Rebecca Craddock, Katie Hohe, Mikaela Lucki, Allison McGrath and Emma Milburn.
The criteria for the team selection includes having at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
The women's squad put forward a cumulative GPA of 3.49 and earned a spot as one of the 233 women's teams that earned the All-Academic honor. This is the 14th consecutive year the team has earned these USTFCCCA honors, dating back to 2007.
The Illini men posted a 3.56 GPA, and there were 220 men's teams in the country that were awarded the honor.
To qualify for the individual All-Academic distinction, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and have either qualified for the national championship meet or finished top-five at their respective conference championship.
Six individual selections from the women's team are the most in a single year in the history of the program. Senior Rebecca Craddock earns her second honor (2019), junior Emma Milburn earns her second honor (2019), and senior Allison McGrath earns her third honor (2018,2019).
