CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Fighting Illini men's beat No. 32 Iowa in dominant fashion on Friday night. It is Illinois' 23rd straight victory over the Hawkeyes. The Orange and Blue went undefeated in singles matchup and won the night's double point.
In doubles play, Zeke Clark and Alex Brown won on Court 2 defeating Snezhko/Allaf  7-5.  On Court 3 Noé Khlif and Siphos Montsi secured the doubles point defeating Tyler/Alam 6-4.
In singles action, Noé Khlif got the first point, winning on Court 5 Â 6-2, 6-2 over Nikita Snezhko. Kovacevic quickly followed, defeating Kareem Allaf 6-3, 6-4 on Court 1.
Kenyatte clinched the match for the Illini on Court 6. He defeated Peter Alam in straight sets (7-5, 6-2). Brown won next on Court 3, defeating Joe Tyler 7-6(5), 6-1.
Montsi beat a comeback attempt on Court 2. He defeated Oliver Okonkwo 6-1,7-6(5). Zeke Clark was the last match playing on the night. He defeated Will Davies 6-3,7-6(5) on Court 4.
