CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Atkins Tennis Center is set to host the Champaign-Urbana Challenger with main draws beginning tomorrow. Current and former Illini will be playing this week.

Today, Sunday, Nov. 14 play in the singles qualifying draw is taking place beginning at 10 a.m. This afternoon former Illini Ruan Roelofse will play Evan King followed by Illinois sophomore Hunter Heck against Aidan McHugh for a place in the singles main draw.

Former Illini Aleks Kovacevic, Aleks Vukic and Zeke Clark have secured spots in the singles main draw. In the doubles main draw, former Ruben Gonzales and partner Hunter Johnson will play BROUWER/ STALDER. Current Illinois double pairing Lucas Horve and Hunter Heck will play against Huey/Schnur.

The tournament is open to the public, masks are required to be worn indoors at the Atkins Tennis Center. The tournament is free today and weekdays before 5, $5 after 5pm and $10 next weekend.
