COLUMBUS, Ohio. – In their final ITA event of the fall tennis season, the Fighting Illini women's tennis team sent six athletes to the ITA Midwest Super Regional at Ohio State University this past weekend, Oct. 22-24.

The doubles team of Kate Duong and Josie Frazier advanced to the quarterfinals of the doubles bracket, while Duong and freshman Megan Heuser advanced to the round of 16 in the singles bracket.

Juniors Ashley Yeah and Josie Frazier both fell in the round of 32 singles, while the teams of Kasia Treiber/Kida Ferrari and Heuser/Yeah fell in the round of 16 doubles.

Illinois will conclude the fall tennis schedule this weekend at the Tennessee Hidden Dual in Knoxville, Tenn.
