Meet Preview
Fighting Illini Track & Field begins the season at the Badger Icebreaker Meet, hosted by Wisconsin on Saturday, January 16. Competition will begin for the Illini at 11 a.m. on Saturday with the women's weight throw trials. Running events will begin at 1:30 p.m. with the final competition, the men's 4 x 400 m relay, set to begin at 4:30.

Know The Field Â
The Illini will be competing against the women and men of the Wisconsin Badgers team on Saturday. Last year, the women's team finished in 9th place at the Indoor Track B1G Championships while their men finished in 7th place. The 2020 Outdoor Track season was canceled due to COVID-19.Â
