PARIS, France – Aleksander Vukic beat Jason Jung in three sets 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 on Thursday during the third round of the Roland Garros men's singles qualifying event. The win earned Vukic one of 16 open spots in the main draw.
He joins fellow Illini Kevin Anderson in the French Open men's singles tournament.
The main draw is expected to be announced later today with play beginning on September 27th.
