The University of Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics announced today it has cancelled all summer sport camps for the 2020 season out of precaution presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. The health and safety of our campers, their families, the Fighting Illini staff and student-athletes is our highest priority. We regret for the first time in the more than 50-year history of Illini sport camps, thousands of campers will not be coming to the Champaign-Urbana campus in the summer to take part in the Fighting Illini experience. We intend to resume athletic camps after September 4, 2020. The DIA is proud of its summer camp traditions and is thankful for the loyalty that Illini fans have shown over the years. We are confident as things return to normalcy that thousands of Fighting Illini campers will have the opportunity to return to our campus. All families currently registered for a sport camp will receive a full refund. Go Illini!
