CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Illinois Ticket Office has launched mobile ticketing and parking for fans attending UI Athletic events at Memorial Stadium, State Farm Center and Huff Hall.
"For many of our fans, their first interaction with Illinois Athletics is through the ticket buying process, and the introduction of mobile ticketing as well as advance parking sales, will greatly enhance that experience," Associate Athletics Director for Ticketing and Sales and Customer Service Jason Heggemeyer said. "We are excited that we can now offer the ability to use their phone for access into Memorial Stadium and a myriad of additional amenities that come with this technology."
MOBILE TICKETING: Tickets purchased online can now be marked for mobile delivery, optimized for use on smart phones for easy purchase and venue entry, while helping to eliminate lost, stolen and counterfeit tickets.
The mobile ticketing delivery method replaces the Print-at-Home (PDF) and Will Call options in order to provide a faster, more efficient, and secure way to enter UI Athletic Facilities. Mobile ticketing gives fans the ability to manage, transfer, re-issue or sell tickets at any time directly from their mobile device.
Fans using mobile ticketing can now avoid Will Call lines on game day, as well as replace lost, damaged or forgotten tickets with ease. These services are available to anyone purchasing season tickets, mini-plan or single game tickets.
PREPAID PARKING: The Illinois Ticket Office has also launched prepaid gameday parking passes. Fans purchasing advanced parking will save 20 percent off the day-of-game price. Parking can be purchased in advance online through FightingIllini.com, allowing fans to opt for mobile delivery.
Season parking passes can also be managed online similar to tickets. All fans now have the ability to transfer passes to friends or family and re-issue electronically if a pass is lost.
In addition to validating prepaid passes, parking lot attendants can now process credit cards and mobile payments (NFC – Apple Pay/Android Pay) at parking lot entrances for day-of-event purchases.
