CHICAGO – Join Fighting Illini fans and basketball's Ayo Dosunmu at Guaranteed Rate Field on Thursday, May 2, for the annual Illini Night with the Chicago White Sox. All tickets purchased through the theme day page include a special co-branded Illini-White Sox jersey. Make plans now to secure your seats and join the White Sox as they take on the Boston Red Sox. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 pm CT.
Dosunmu, a native of Chicago and star at Morgan Park High School, will throw out the first pitch and sign autographs for fans prior to the game behind Section 100 on the main concourse starting at 5:45 pm. Be sure to stop buy for Fighting Illini giveaways and enter for a chance to win Flyin' Illini bobbleheads.
The Illini Night ticket package, open to all University of Illinois alumni, students, faculty and staff, & family and friends, includes the opportunity to enter the ballpark at approximately 4:45 p.m. to watch the White Sox take batting practice, plus a one-of-a-kind co-branded Illini-White Sox jersey! *Please note that the early batting practice and jersey voucher is based upon availability.
Additionally, the first 10,000 fans to the game will receive special White Sox T-shirt.
Illini fans should also mark their calendars for Illini Night with the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday, April 26, in St. Louis when the Cardinals host the Reds, and Illini Night with the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday, May 22, at Wrigley Field when the Cubs host the Phillies at 7:05 p.m..
