PREVIEW
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- The Illinois baseball team hosts Bradley for a midweek nonconference game Tuesday at 6 p.m. CT. The specialty concession item "Illini Beefs," an Italian beef sandwich, will be available for one game only.
Illinois (22-12, 3-6 Big Ten) has a quick turnaround after finishing a three-game series Monday at Minnesota and flying back to Illinois late Monday night. The Illini won two of three against Minnesota, claiming the weather-adjusted series with a Sunday doubleheader sweep.
Bradley (22-10, 3-3 Missouri Valley) brings a 10-game winning streak to Champaign, most recently sweeping Southern Illinois last weekend in Peoria. The Braves also beat Iowa in a midweek game last week.
Bradley won the two teams' only meeting last season, a 4-3 decision in 11 innings at Illinois Field. Illinois and Bradley are scheduled to play again next Tuesday at Dozer Park in Peoria, Illinois.
Dave Loane has the call for all three games on the Fighting Illini Sports Network. A video stream will be provided via BTN Plus (subscription required)
