CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The University of Illinois and Southern Illinois University will unite for the dedication and unveiling of a statue of legendary coach Itch Jones, which will be housed at Itchy Jones Stadium in Carbondale, Ill. The event is slated for Oct. 17 and will feature a stacked list of speakers that includes Illinois head coach Dan Hartleb, Mike Reis, and more.
More information, including start time and a finalized list of speakers, will be made available in early October. The event is free and open to the public.
