Senior Devin Quinn earned bronze medals in the 60m and the 200m to lead the Illinois men's track & field team at the Big Ten Championships. Quinn finished with a time of 6.67 to place third at the conference meet in the 60m dash. In the 200m, he finished third with a personal best time of 20.71. The 20.71 finish in the 200m now stands as the fastest time in the event in Illinois program history, surpassing the previous top-time of 20.75 set by DJ Zahn back in 2015.
Quinn also qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships in the 200m, finishing in the top-16 nationally. The NCAA Indoor Championships will be held in Birmingham, Ala. on Friday, March 8 and Saturday, March 9. The Illinois distance medley group of juniors Jesse Reiser and Joe Haight, senior Denis O'Callaghan and sophomore Jon Davis also finished in the top-12 to qualify for the national meet.
