SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The Fighting Illini arrived at their San Francisco hotel on Thursday afternoon ahead of Monday's Redbox Bowl match with with California.
The team has a busy day planned for Friday, starting with practice in the morning, a press conference at the Hyatt Regency, a trip to Alcatraz Island and then taking in the Golden State Warriors-Phoenix Suns game.
Illinois and Cal will meet on Monday, Dec. 30, at Levi's Stadium in the 2019 Redbox Bowl (1 pm PT/3 CT on FOX).
