Fighting Illini freshman Shaylah Scott made her collegiate debut at a quad meet with Central Michigan, Arizona and Bridgeport last weekend in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Illinois posted a 48.525 on the floor, with Scott recording a 9.775.

"Shaylah has worked really hard on all of those details and it was great to see her do what she has been doing in training," said head coach Nadalie Walsh. "This is just the beginning of her floor greatness."
