Join Fighting Illini men's basketball coach Brad Underwood at Busch Stadium on Friday, May 18, for the annual Illini Night with the St. Louis Cardinals. All tickets purchased through the special theme day page include a limited edition navy and orange Illini-themed Cardinals jersey. Make plans now to secure your seats and join the Cardinals as they take on the Philadelphia Phillies. First pitch is scheduled for 7:15pm CT.

A new twist this year is that Illini Night is part of "Braggin Rights Night" at Busch Stadium, which will feature a pregame pep rally for both Illinois and Missouri fans. The Marching Illini and Illini cheerleading squad are expected to be in attendance, along with the Braggin' Rights trophy, which the Illini won for the fifth straight time in December. 

Coach Underwood is scheduled to sign autographs and meet with fans prior to the game at 5:15 pm for approximately 45 minutes. Fans will have chance to win an autographed Lovie Smith football and also will be able to pick up 2018 football schedules and other Fighting Illini promotional items (koozies, water bottles, etc.) at the Illini Tour marketing table set up in the Budweiser Terrace area. 

The Illini-themed Cardinals jersey is available only with the purchase of a special Theme Ticket. All Braggin' Rights theme night purchases will come with a game ticket and a separate voucher. The voucher can be redeemed at the game or pre-game festival at the Budweiser Terrace Theme Tickets kiosk, across from Section 431, from 5:15 p.m. to 8 p.m. Fans will not be able to receive the item without a voucher at the event. 

Additionally, the first 30,000 fans aged 16 and older will receive a Bob Gibson pitching rubber commemorating his 1968 season in which he compiled a 1.12 ERA. 

Illini fans should also mark their calendars for Illini Night with the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday, July 10, in Chicago when the Sox host the Cardinals at 7:10 p.m.
